About us​​

The idea of Finca La Vida began on our first holiday together, staying in a B&B just outside Torrox. Perched high in the hills with panoramic views over the sea, we felt a sense of peace and connection that was impossible to ignore. It was clear to us then – this was the place where we wanted to build our future.

At the time, both of us were facing challenges in our careers. The constant changes and pressures made our work lives increasingly difficult, and we knew it was time for a change. The decision to leave behind our home in East Sussex, where we had lived for only two years, wasn’t easy. But we realised that the cost of staying where we were – both personally and professionally – outweighed the leap we’d need to make.

With our three dogs in tow, we put our house on the market, accepting that a financial loss might be part of the journey. But the desire for more freedom and the ability to shape our own path was worth it. After months of searching for a place in Andalusia, we discovered Finca La Vida. It immediately felt like the perfect fit for us.

The moment we arrived at the finca, we knew. The breathtaking views and surroundings, the peaceful atmosphere, and the sense of possibility were everything we had hoped for. It was clear that this was where we were meant to be, and we made the decision to call it home.

Finca La Vida is the culmination of our journey – a place of peace, inspiration, and a new beginning. It’s been challenging at times, but the rewards have been well worth it.
