Finca La Vida, located in the Axarquia region, is approximately 6 km from the typical Andalusian, 630m high white mountain village of Cómpeta, 55 km from Malaga and 18 km from the coast. 

 

Cómpeta is the starting point for hiking or biking excursions and is an absolute must for outdoor and nature lovers. The 40,000 hectare protected natural park Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama has many official hiking trails.

 

In the town, which is famous for its Moscatel grapes, one finds strolling through narrow streets, cozy terraces and restaurants. Every Saturday morning there is a market.

Of course, there are shops, supermarkets, ATMs, banks, pharmacies and an ambulance station.

 

Major Andalusian cities such as Malaga (one hour's drive) or Granada with its famous Alhambra palace (two hours' drive) are easily accessible from here.

 

The bustling seaside resort of Nerja with its authentic Andalusian charm is 25km away. The sandy beaches, bays and cliffs below the town are enchantingly beautiful.
